Pu Luong trekking  Day 1: Hanoi-Pu Luong, trek to PuBin  villages. 2.5 hours Depart from your Hanoi hotel at 7:00 am transferring to Mai Chau ( 160km ). We will then leave Mai Chau for a short ride along the Ma River (22 km) to Nong Luong village. Off the car and off the beaten path, we begin our trek to Pu Bin villages. For 2.5 hours we we will trek (~ 10 km ) through outstanding mountain scenery and picturesque rice paddies, see hand-crafted bamboo water wheels, and talk with the lovely local people. Spend the night in a local Thai family’s traditional home on stilts. Mai Chau hill tribe walking The breathtaking valley of Mai Chau with its patchwork quilt of rice fields, farms and stilted houses is just a short distance from Hanoi. Home to the H’mong and White Thai hill tribes who will be our hosts, we’ll sample their homestyle cooking and be entertained with a traditional dance performance. By day we take gentle walks through stunning scenery. Day 1: Hanoi – Mai Chau – Pong Cong Village (L, D) We depart Hanoi and head west toward Hoa Binh City where we stop for refreshments and coffee. Leaving Hoa Binh, we climb toward the Mai Chau valley, about another 1.5 hours away, stopping on the way to take in the spectacular scenery. Following lunch in Mai Chau town, we stroll around the stunning villages of Thai people. Our hosts for this evening will be the White Thai minority people and we will stay in one of their traditional stilt houses. There, we will be toasted as honoured guests and will be able to sample some of their homemade rice wine! New tourism products introduced during Sea Festival

The central coastal city of Nha Trang will hold several exciting cultural and sports activities during the 2015 Sea Festival, scheduled to take place from July 11-14. The biennial event, the seventh of its kind since 2003, will involve a number of artistic, cultural and sporting events introduced to tourists for the first time, such as viewing coral under the sea bed, fish breeding at Hon Tam resort, catching clams and crafting accessories. Additionally, the Khanh Hoa Salangane Nest Company inaugurated an eco-tourim complex on the Dong Tam salangane island on July 9. On the island that is 20 minutes from Nha Trang port by boat, customers have a chance to visit swallow caves, fish, kayak, water-motor race and enjoy local specialties. As one of the largest events in the city, the Sea Festival is part of efforts to preserve and promote regional and national cultural sea values. A number of art troupes from the Republic of Korea, France, Japan, Russia and the US are set to participate in this year’s festival.
